About the course
Through this course, you will acquire the core technical competencies required to deploy Proxmox VE on single hosts. You will learn the essential steps for successfully installing a Proxmox VE server, creating and managing virtual machines (VMs) and Linux containers, including networking, storage, and security best practices, as well as backup strategies. The hands-on training provides you with both a solid theoretical foundation and practical lab exercises.

What is Proxmox VE?
Proxmox VE is a powerful open-source virtualization platform that combines KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) and LXC (Linux Containers). It enables seamless management of virtual machines, containers, software-defined storage, and networking through an intuitive web-based interface or via the command line. With features such as high availability, live migration, and a unique multi-master design, Proxmox VE provides a flexible and scalable solution for virtualizing modern IT infrastructures.

- Lots of hands-on exercises

- Prior knowledge Basic knowledge of Linux and networking is helpful, but not strictly required.
- Technical requirements: Laptop / computer with a working internet connection. / For online courses additionally required: headphones, microphone, and webcam.
